Cleaning a Hoarder's House and Eating Too Much Birthday Cake!

Some good stuff happened this week! We went and visited Lincoln, who was a self-referral back in August 2021 - he was dropped because he had been too busy, so we dropped by to see how he was doing and if he was still interested in the Gospel! He and his wife were home, and they invited us inside for a few minutes so we could share a quick message! We read 3 Nephi 11 (Christ's visit to the Americas) and he just LOVED it! We invited him to read the Book of Mormon for 5 minutes each day, and he said he would! We're excited for him.

Thursday was Hermana Passey's birthday! We got SO much cake from several members and other missionaries, but it's finally all gone, so I can eat healthily again. On her birthday, we went and did some cleaning service for a lady who had reached out to us on Facebook - turns out, she's a total hoarder, so it was quite the adventure! Hermana Passey LOVES cleaning, though, so it was the perfect birthday gift!

Personal Study Excerpt for the week!

2 Nephi 28:32 - "...I will be merciful unto them, saith the Lord God, if they will repent and come unto me; for mine arm is lengthened out all the day long, saith the Lord God of Hosts."

--God's arm is lengthened out ot us, but we still need to take action - we need to reach out and take His hand!

--HOW do we reach out to Him? What does that look like?

--pick one of the things that came to your mind just now, and DO that thing! The Lord loves effort, no matter how small it may seem to us - just show Him that you're trying to reach out to Him!
